The brothers Boris (1933-2012) and Arkadii Strugatskii (1925-1991), are very popular Russian authors of science fiction and fantasy. They wrote several film scripts (Stalker, Trudno Byt' Bogom, etc.) This book is about the history of their partnership in writing, of their ideas and plots, of their difficult relations with soviet censors and publishers. The book shows their development as writers and social thinkers as well as the evolution of this genre in Russian literature.
