This is the last work of the outstanding Russian philosopher Vladimir Solov'ev, completed in 1900. The full title was: Three Conversations About the War, Progress, and the End of World History. The interlocutors are a lady, a general, and a politician, Mr. Z, suspiciously resembling the author, and a follower of Tolstoi's teaching. Also included is a chapter Vladimir Solov'ev: Life and the Evolution of His Views by Sergei Solov'ev.
