This bibliographical work is a reprint of the revised and enlarged second edition, original published in 1976. Bibliographia Oziana has served as the standard reference work that sorts out the extremely complex printing history of each of the original forty Oz books by L. Frank Baum and his six successors. In addition it includes full descriptions of Oz-related works by the same authors. The descriptions of each variant are clear and concise, but conforms to general accepted principles of bibliographical description. The 136 photographic illustrations complement the textual descriptions, making Bibliographia Oziana an important resource and particularly helpful to those who are new to the field.
