Handsome, but restless, businessman Mike Storrs becomes obsessed with sky-diving, somersault skiing, and hanggliding. He loses his wife, quits his job, and heads for the Vermont hills, where he was once a ski instructor. There he meets and becomes devoted to an unusual man who changes his entire life.
